9,3x66 which rifles would do best for this round?

it requires 85 mm oal.

how would it do in a 1895 winchester?

85mm is only 3.346" The standard for the 30-06 is 3.34. Anything long enough to handle the 06 should handle the 9.3X66.

My 2 cent opinion it is a waste to go to the longer case and then fill it with bullet. Comparing a 9.3x62 vs a 9.3x66 loaded to the same pressure and oal the gain shown by Loadtech is very maginal.

according to sako it is comperable to the 375 hh...

was thinking it would make a good large bodied game round and would be great to have it in a lever action or pump action. so no mods except chamber reaming and barrel change?

i was thinking this would be a better round than the 375 hawk in terms of not a wildcat and can purchase loaded ammo if needed.
