So, what is the average cost of going from a blank to a finished stock? I know the total cost depends on the cost of the blank, quality of blank, grain, etc., but I'm looking at the actual cost of the work going from blank to finished product. Thanks, Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."

To have a professional stockmaker(ACGG) do it you are looking at $2,000 to $4,500 for the most part. There are some who do it for less, and some who command much more. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure. -Jason Brown
