| Parry, Our boxes are slightly longer than those offered by a stock Winchester. We did this especially on our Short Action to accomodate a huge influx of requests for a box that was at a minimum 3 1/8" length. Acrabond should have inletted it to handle the length of both the magazine box and the bottom metal. I would contact Rod or Larry at Acrabond and inform them of your quandry.

| Sorry. I was not referring to the length but the depth of the box. Also this is an older Acrabond stock originally produced for a Winchester short action. |

Parry, I agree, I don't believe that removing material from the bottom of the magazine box will affect it adversly. You were only talking about removing a small amount anyway. Worst case scenerio, we always have more boxes.
