I was wondering if you can convert a 1895 winchester cahmbered to 405 win to 404 jeffery or other cartridges like that? Im not shure if it is a good idea but i thought that would make a different gun then anyone else has seen.

Be careful on pressures, but the 405 Win was originally developed for the 1895. Teddy R loved it on safari.

Just for giggles I'd say that queering a Winchester like that might be a bad play considering that they are closing the New Haven plant. Anyway, the .405 will do about anything you want with proper bullets. My .02 worth. If yuro'e corseseyd and dsyelixc can you siltl raed oaky?

Those new Winny 1895's are made in Japan by Miroku. And, they are much nicer than the stateside production Winchesters.
