A 458 Wmag case that has been shortened to 2" from the factory 2.5". Not a bad wildcat. 400grs in the 17-1900fps range. As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||

i think it is called a 458 american. if i remember right barnes developed it in the 60's. | |||

I do have a question. I was under the impression that it is a no-no to chamber a small thread barrel in a magnum as it leaves the chamber walls too thin under the threads. Is this correct?
