can anyone here route my blank to classic shadowline cheekpiece style for a Interarms magnum mauser. It's a 375 H&H but small barrel channel will do.....or recommend someone....my source just dried up.....

I've done business with Richards.....that's why I posted here...and Jeffe...sorry I don't have a pattern. The classic shadowline is so standard that one shouldn't need a pattern I'd think....I'd be delighted to send you the blank otherwise.

Check with Dennis Olsen in Plains, Montana. If you do a seach here you should be able to find his contact info.

Vapodog,,, classic shadowline patterens can be way different depending on the pattern. differnt grip area for example , long open grip, short closed grip, I heard richards pattern is a thin stock??? I have a picture of a couple of dennis olsons patterns , theres Ed Shvelen in Colorado too.

An aquaintaince of mine refered me to this gentleman. Although I havent used his services yet myself Im sure he would be a good choice considering some of Ken's (my firends) immaculate work.

Ken says his work is top notch and prices are reasonable. He usually waits until he has several stocks to send and gets better pricing that way. You would have to disguss the details of what you want with him. If I remember correctly he has a well established 2nd generation business started by his father.

I am confused by your post, do you want the wood bland turned to a classic patter with cheekpiece or a cheek piece added to a turned stock???????

Ray, I have a bastogne blank 10" X 3" X 40" and want it routed to a 90% inletted stock blank. I want the styling to be the classic style with shadowline cheekpiece. It's for a commercial Mauser in .375 H&H

I would send it to Mike Kokolus, he is as good as anybody in the business. He has classic mauser patterns. 570-924-3279, tell him Billy Dodd told you to call.
