I'd do a search of the forum for threads on Richard's Microfit before I'd order anything from him.
Just my opine.

I've done business with Richards.....that's why I posted here...and Jeffe...sorry I don't have a pattern. The classic shadowline is so standard that one shouldn't need a pattern I'd think....I'd be delighted to send you the blank otherwise.

An aquaintaince of mine refered me to this gentleman. Although I havent used his services yet myself Im sure he would be a good choice considering some of Ken's (my firends) immaculate work.

Ken says his work is top notch and prices are reasonable. He usually waits until he has several stocks to send and gets better pricing that way. You would have to disguss the details of what you want with him. If I remember correctly he has a well established 2nd generation business started by his father.

I am confused by your post, do you want the wood bland turned to a classic patter with cheekpiece or a cheek piece added to a turned stock???????

Ray, I have a bastogne blank 10" X 3" X 40" and want it routed to a 90% inletted stock blank. I want the styling to be the classic style with shadowline cheekpiece. It's for a commercial Mauser in .375 H&H
