I have a beater stainless 45 with bright flats and the top of the slide and underside of the frame are matte. I was wondering what type and size of media (for a small sand blaster) would be needed to dull the flats to more closely the matte sides. This is an experiment in progress and any advice would be appreciated. Steve.......... NRA Patron Life Member GOA Life Member North American Hunting Club Life Member USAF Veteran

Knew that about the larger beads, I'll run some small beads through a couple of times and see what happens. Thanks. Steve...... NRA Patron Life Member GOA Life Member North American Hunting Club Life Member USAF Veteran

Down here in s Florida, you go out back take a shovel , flip the soil over dig down about 6 inches and hit the white sugars sand . Let dry , sift and blast for a very fine matte finish .
