Yup, saw one in action, wasn't overly impressed. Don't know why a guy would even want one on a Mauser, but to each his own.

That looks like it could be an adapted M70 stock but McMillan makes this stock for Mausers:

Would Echols stock work?

The one you posted Woodhits, is a Sako AV fiberclass stock. That McMillan builds.

It's ok, just looking for something more Africana!

The green one pictured looks like a Bell and Carlson I have. Solid stock, took some work to fit.

Does your rifle have a dropped box magazine like the green stocked mauser?

What did you use to build up material in the gap?

What kind of paint did you use?

I have used Mark Bansner's synthetic on a couple of rifles and have a Mauser blank awaiting a project. They do require work to finish them (which I enjoy) as delivered but they are a great piece IMO.

No, I'm sorry I missed that..........

I'm sure a B&C could be built up with fiber glass though......
