Yup, saw one in action, wasn't overly impressed. Don't know why a guy would even want one on a Mauser, but to each his own.

The one you posted Woodhits, is a Sako AV fiberclass stock. That McMillan builds.

What did you use to build up material in the gap?
What kind of paint did you use?

BoxheadI have used Mark Bansner's synthetic on a couple of rifles and have a Mauser blank awaiting a project. They do require work to finish them (which I enjoy) as delivered but they are a great piece IMO.
