What is the cheapest way to ship gunstock blanks and other 3 foot long planks?

I have several pieces of either wood for a laminate job, or stright grained blanks that need shipped.

I cut cardboard and duct tape it together (stock blanks are hard to damage) in a tidy package and send UPS ground.....cheapest way!!! Insure them and ask for confirmation of delivery (signature required).....that way the reciprient can't say the package never got to him.

Ditto on VapoDog ; Insure them and pass it along to whom ever is buying them .It's Cheap enough and that way NOBODY is out should something happen to them .
