I naively told a cousin that I could have the local gunsmith do a trigger job on his Interarms 243 for not a lot of $$. Turns out I was wrong, as the military style trigger is apparently not conducive to a safe lightening-up job.
The smith suggested replacing it with a Timney but said the Bold was a lesser priced alternative, although he hadn't had any experience with them. Since money was a factor (it's my money and not my gun), I told him to go ahead and give the Bold a try.
Anyone have any experience with these triggers? Thanks. -WSJ
wsj; Ihave one in a 98 mauser with safty . breaks nice and clean and crisp at 3#. they are adjustable simular to a timney and just slightly cheaper. hiv.

I agree with HV. I've used the Bold triggers in half dozen Mausers and they are a good trigger, fully the equal of a Timney, IMHO. There are other triggers out there that are better, but the price jump is pretty steep. - Dan
