<WSJ>"Bold" brand trigger for Interarms Mark X 243?
I naively told a cousin that I could have the local gunsmith do a trigger job on his Interarms 243 for not a lot of $$. Turns out I was wrong, as the military style trigger is apparently not conducive to a safe lightening-up job.
The smith suggested replacing it with a Timney but said the Bold was a lesser priced alternative, although he hadn't had any experience with them. Since money was a factor (it's my money and not my gun), I told him to go ahead and give the Bold a try.
Anyone have any experience with these triggers? Thanks. -WSJ

dan belisleI agree with HV. I've used the Bold triggers in half dozen Mausers and they are a good trigger, fully the equal of a Timney, IMHO. There are other triggers out there that are better, but the price jump is pretty steep. - Dan

<migra>I've used a bunch of them as well as a bunch of Timney's. I can't tell the difference, both are good triggers.

<WSJ>Thanks all! I feel a little better about shucking out the $$. It's got to be better than what's in the rifle now. -WSJ
