Well after a couple years of saving my pennies, I've finally ordered a new lathe and mill....

It's going to be so nice to use "modern" equipment for a change!

The old South Bend and Bridgeport are sold and the new owner will be pickin them up a day or two before the new state of the art stuff gets here.

It's a big investment, but it'll help me get work out much faster and without near as much setup time.

Just had to share!

I bought a Clausing 13x40 Tool Room lathe with DRO and a taper attachment.... and a Bridgeport Knee mill with a 9x32" table with DRO and power feeds

The mill is CNC ready, but that'll be a later upgrade...

Steve,
where did you get your mill and lathe? I am looking to upgrade my SouthBend lathe and Jet mill/drill.
Thanks, Bill
