Teutonic overkill. IMO good lines spoiled by excessive decoration. But if you look at wheelocks from the 1500s and 1600s you can see the heredity.

Funny how some folks like blondes and some like red heads, and both are equally valid likes and desires. I saw those arms and loved them. A side lever, bar in wood, combination rifle is a great combination for making a functional arm that show cases his ability. I loved them!

But hey, it would be a boring rock if we all liked the same thing. I'll keep driving my Chevy truck and chasing red heads!

Just incredible. Every weapon featured is brilliant in concept and execution.

And my truck is a Ford and my wife a brunette, too.

I saw examples of Ollendorf's at SCI in 2004 that weren't overly ornamental. One was a beautiful color case-hardened bar-in-wood singleshot that was absolute perfection with minimal engraving. I would be proud to own one of his rifles. I'd gather that anyone here that says otherwise hasn't had a chance to see one in the flesh. If you would like one in blued steel and straight grained walnut, I'm sure he would turn one out for you. They are deftly made.
