I have a 9.3x62 which is getting a new Synthetic stock, question is my cz has an additional recoil lug under the barrel, for best accuracy should I have it removed, the gun is gone be free flouted, how does the extra recoil lug influence accuracy

leave it.. in fact, use it.. the cz big bore have a reputation for accuracy, and they all use that lug.

but, if you are going to float it, leave it there.. then if you need to, you can rebed it and tie it down

I removed the lug from mine (it is dovetailed into the bottom of the barrel) when I put my 9.3x62 into a McMillan stock. It shoots just as well now as it did with the lug bedded into the factory stock.

so, apparently the cost of removing it didn't improve the accuracy (LOL - just kidding)

leave it or don't
