how's the MRC action for building a custom?

would like to build a custom big bore 416 rem would the MRC be a suitable action for this project?

Rifle magazine just did a review of these. Good reading. I recommend you pick up the issue of the magazine.


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Absolutely.....mine also feeds the 404 Jeffery round and this is possibly the least pain method to build a 416 Rem. Just add a stock, barrel and a bit of polish and you have a very nice custom.
