Anybody ever heard of Wind River Barrels? I ran across a full octogon for sale. Are they any good?

I am repling to this rather than posting the same question. I however refuse to put the letters BTT because of some complaints about people repling with BTT just to put the post BTT. I am not going to do that.

I don't know. I finally found a web site for them. They show all types.

Nice rifles too.

Well it has been test fired. So far I am real happy. It is off at the stock makers now and from there it will be getting a rust blue. You can see the barreled action in this thread.

Do you have one?

ElCaballero, I do not have a WindRiver barrel. In the next couple of days or so I will be making my final decision on a barrel maker. I called WindRiver, and they said they could make the barrel, chamber and fit it to my CZ action.
I just wondered how you made out with your WindRiver barrel?
I think they used to make barrels for Brownells.
Do you know anything about their Gunsmith work?
Thanks

I don't know anything about their work other than the pictures on thier website. If they weren't too high it may just be worth finding out!
