That's kinda funny....Sorry this will be a little time consuming, but you could go here Babble Fish Translator and type in the directions and it'll translate them for you. Terry -------------------------------------------- Well, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I assume it works like the Grisel/Dakota safety. To cut the notch that locks the bolt handle down in the back of the bolt, take the safety lever, plunger & spring out, screw in the shroud insert bolt in action, close bolt, find a punch that fits the plunger/bolt lock hole and wack the back of the bolt. If you don't have the trigger & firing pin in, and the rifle in battery "cocked" your mark may be a little off because the bolt assembly rides higher in battery allowing a little more rotation of the bolt handle when it's closed. If you cut the notch too much in the clockwise direction when viewing from the back of the bolt the lock will be a little sloppy. This amount of slop also depends how well the bolt stop side of the new shroud fits the tang of your action. gunmaker

Or you can do like I did on my Mark X project and put a little wet sticky paint on the little plunger and then put it on the bolt and install it on the gun, and then move the safety lever until it stops. it will leave a paint mark exactly where you need to grind.

Sort of off topic but I just talked with Ed LaPour and his M98 safeties (fully broached, case hardened) will be available mid-March for $200. The sound like they are very well made.... LaPour 3-pos Jay Kolbe
