| Educate me please. If I wanted to get a stock blank in the same wood - what would I call it? Is it just mineral steaked walnut?

| I'd call it medium honey quartersawn english with dark mineral streaks. That Burgess/Milliron rifle is a beauty and a piece of American custom gunmaking history.

| What Forrest said. I have a similar blank hanging in my shop that I procured from the Dressel's. There's plenty of similar wood to be had from any of the wood dealers out there. |

| 333, There are more photos of that rifle HERE. I'm suprised that rifle has lasted as long as it has with out being sold. |
