KwanNew Mongrel in the House
Hello all,
Well after 20 years of pedigree dogs, I went and fell in love with this little mutt, a cross Airdale x Staffordshire bitch, and I there and then decided this looks like a great hunting companion,
My English Pointer has been put on pension due too her hips, so the need was there for a tracking dog, I hope she will be as good as her predecessor, but we all fell in love in 30 seconds flat and now she is part of the family,
Wish me luck, 5 dogs in the bedroom is going to be

KwanYes I thought so too, I bred Staffordshires and showed them for a couple of years, and my Ex is going on with that, but the Staffies has always been too short on the leg for my liking, and the male I had hunted great though contra too all talk about them
I have liked the Airdale and Irish for a long time, and when I saw this cross, I looked for he pup with the most Airdale physical appearances, so we will have o wait and see how she turns out, but the impala skin on the floor has her attention already.

Mary Hilliard-KruegerBeautiful pup! I know in Hawaii they use Airdales, Pit Bulls and Airdale/Pit crosses for hog dogs. She should, indeed, be a great hunting companion.
Kind regards,
Mary

KwanThanks Mary,
Yes that is one of the reasons I took to the breeding, I was looking for a bushpig dog again, We run a pack of hounds for pigs, but some land owners does not want 15 dogs running loose, so I will train her on her own and just like I did with the Stafford use her on her own or with the Ridgeback.
