That's nothing. There are many here on Accurate that do that all day long, some with handguns.

That is one amazingly small group... especially at 1000 yards!

My rifle range has 100, 600 and 900 yard ranges. I shoot there weekly and sometimes I shoot weakly and sometimes I shoot well but NOT 1.068" at 900 let alone 1000. Not even close to that but I'll be the first to admit that I'm a hack-wannabe compared to the real competitors....but I have tons of fun!

"That's nothing"...your delusional if you think you or your rifle can do that....you'd be lucky to shoot a 24 inch group...

Best TIC post I've read in a long long time. Thanks for the chuckle!

Of course some us can shoot like that with an open sight handgun... in a 23.7 mile an hour cross-wind, while dancing the jig...just ask me. LOL

Best, Zeke

I and some friends went to a 500 yhard shoot a few years back. The winner that day shot a .5 inch 3 shot group.
I meant to get down to the line and talk to the guy but the rest of the crew was ready to leave.
I can't say what his equipment was.
So i assume with good equipment shooting like that does happen.

Thanks Butch. That is a brilliant group, to use the British term.
I had to look up 6 BRA as I have not kept up with what the precision shooters are running these days.
