22" barrel microgroove... Confused

change the barrel to a ballard 20" and you got a good 300 yard deer levergun Big Grin

those gummy pointed bullets will be great for reloading other carts jumping

like this one necked up to 35!

Boom stick why not the microgroove barrel. I am just curious as i once owned an 1895SS 45/70 with the 22" micro groove barrel and it was the most accurate rifle i ever shot . I always handloaded the Hornady 350 RN around 1900 FPS. Is the ballard a more accurate barrel? Thanks Tanoose
