Hmm, let's see. A Marine, a fighter pilot in both WW II and the Korean War, 5 DFC's, first American to orbit the earth, a US Senator for 25 years, he dies at age 95 and I am supposed to "remember" that he was a "reliable anti-gun vote". I guess I am a liberal because that changes NOTHING in my opinion.

You are liberal. That isn't news to anyone here.

I respect him for everything he did before he began voting against my rights while in the Senate.

Interestingly enough, no one has mentioned the investigation of John (along with others) in the Charles Keating "affair". Funny what people remember!
