PeterHmm, let's see. A Marine, a fighter pilot in both WW II and the Korean War, 5 DFC's, first American to orbit the earth, a US Senator for 25 years, he dies at age 95 and I am supposed to "remember" that he was a "reliable anti-gun vote". I guess I am a liberal because that changes NOTHING in my opinion.

Interestingly enough, no one has mentioned the investigation of John (along with others) in the Charles Keating "affair". Funny what people remember!
