I'm looking to hunt unit 9 this fall and wanted to know if anyone has hunted this unit for brown bear and what quality I should expect | ||

Unit 9 is as big as many states so the quality of bears and bear hunting vary's but for the most part unit is very good in the better areas and still OK in other parts. DRSS NRA life AK Master Guide 124 | |||

Almost all of unit 9 holds big bears. Some areas are better than others... Kodiak or unit 9 is where you want to be. Which outfitter are you looking at? | |||
