Mark The reports are that Adam Clements has lost his primary block in Tanzania. Care to comment? So when you say "we", is this a new area, or operator? Thank you "You only gotta do one thing well to make it in this world" - J Joplin

Jack, You seem to be better informed than I am as I don't know anything about Adam loosing our prime area. Jealousy breeds rumors and half truths that are rife in the safari biz. To answer your question these hunts are all run by ACST and WE means ACST. If I was advertising for someone else I would have said that. Mark MARK H. SG, All our 8 areas are excellent. Really! I think Lobo and Lokisale are what Jack was referring to as they are our Masailand areas adjacent to the Tarangire park and super for buffalo, lion and other EA game. Mark MARK H. Mark, Help me understand - you make it clear that you are selling hunts in Lobo and Lokisale. You refer to them as "our" area, yes? Yet is it not true that Adam Clements Safari Trackers lost that area two months ago? I believe Harpreet Brar now is selling hunts in that very area. Is this information "rumor or half truth"? or have you not been informed of the change in management? Thank you "You only gotta do one thing well to make it in this world" - J Joplin

Jack, Adam and Harpreet have collaborated in business off and on ever since I've been involved with Adam. That collaboration is their business and not mine or anybody's. The point is that if you book one of these Tanzania hunts I've advertised here you will be booking with ACST. ACST has not lost any areas in Tanzania but is expanding as good opportunities present themselves. Mark MARK H. I just saw photos of the two lions shot in your "new" areas last week, and they are both phenomenal cats. Also saw some photos of other live lions passed during the hunt, and their genetics look as good as the two males that were taken. Next year looks like it may be great as well! Brad, Those lion were just shot recently and I don't have access to the pix at this time with Adam in Tanzania. Go to Facebook and do a search for Osprey Filming and there right there. You won't find two better lions anywhere. I don't know the story yet on the lion with its face turned away but I'm curious. I'll try to find out. Mark MARK H. Mark, Your reply has more twists and half truths in it than an Obama speech. First, let's be clear on one thing. ACST are persona non grata at Bundu Safaris. Mr. Clements will no longer hunt Lobo and Lokisale. So why do you claim it so? Bwanamich, you are correct. "Lost" implies that you once owned it. The fact is that ACST owned a shell company with access to Bundu, but not the area. The suitcase PH scenario is more appropriate. Mark, you have some explaining to do. I throw the bullshit flag because either you knew about Mr. Harvey's decision to kick Mr. Clements out of Bundu and gave some confusticated answer. Or you did not know and should have. Either way, your credibility -the currency of the trade- is shot. Maybe your current misrepresentations in Tanzania need repeating because in the past you tried to sell illegal hunts in Moz. Or maybe because you posted a hunt for $10,000 more than the outfitter was charging while never doing your due diligence. Or maybe it was because Mr. Clements dissed a hunter who had items stolen from one of his camps. Or even because of the two buffalo hunters who hunted with ACST, never saw a track. Might have well been hunting the far side of the moon. Or maybe it's because you think this board is simply a vehicle for you to make money. Remember your "ka-ching" post? All of these are valid, yet it's not the real reason. The real reason is I have seen at least four instances where your potential clients were misinformed, or about to be. I am too passionate about what we do to let some unsuspecting hunter about to undertake a costly trip in both dollars and time make a decision to hunt with you without having all of the information. Have a nice day. "You only gotta do one thing well to make it in this world" - J Joplin

Jack, You obviously have some personal axe to grind with our company. I don't recall doing anything to you. In fact about a year ago you called me asking about representation for a safari operator friend of yours so I'm a little puzzled by venomous tilt of your post. Like I said Adam's business is Adam's business and not mine or anyone else's. Others reading your post above need to realize there are always two sides to every controversy and trial via Internet is never fair. It would seem you'd like to draw me into some Internet exchange where you could make me look like a bad guy. That's not going to happen but I will address one thing you said. The Ka-Ching comment was in reference to all the doom and gloom folowing I think the '08 SCI show. Everybody was bemoaning the poor sales at the show. I'm sorry but we did very well and I apologise for my enthusiasm. You have a nice day too. Mark MARK H. A great non-answer Mark. The question is very simple, and you have yet to give a strait answer. Why? I expect an answer, actually. If not from you, someone will provide it. I have gone out on a limb here mark and questioned your practices. If it turns out that ACST still has the rights to hunt Lobo and Lokisale your stated "prime" Tanzania area, I will owe you a loud apology. If it turns out that ACST has been asked to leave that area, and you continue to represent otherwise, your credibilty would rightly be in shreds. Fair enough? Wow I see some people are bored at home and the normal AR bashing going on still continues. I am actually in the Kizigo Game Reserve right now hunting with clients and on my Sat. computer just to handle these silly comments by Jack and to help answer the apparent rumors going around. I am sorry that my answers may not be what some of you want to hear as I understand I have a big target on my back with the competition in this industry. Jack D. Bold - You are obviously not a fan of ours and that is just fine, but I do suggest that you go pick a fight somewhere else. Here is your direct answer that you are waiting for. YES ACST DOES STILL HUNT AND BOOK CLIENTS INTO LOLKISALE AND LOBO! I HAVE NOT LOST ANY AREAS! Sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear, but Adam Clements is bigger and better than ever before! Jack I am sorry to hear that you follow Obama's speech so much and probably why you don't have your facts straight on your rumorville here. What has happened that is a change in these areas and probably why these rumors have started is because of the following. The management that I had in these areas was not working too well, so Harpreet Brar joined up with us in these two areas and we are working together in these areas. Because Harpreet has an office in Arusha and my office is in Dar, so it made sense for him to join and help with the on ground management and operations in the Masailand areas which were out of my way. ACST still does what it always has and still provides the clients, marketing etc. The clients booked with ACST still hunt with my normal PH's as always and there is no change with what we have always done. The only change is that Harpreet has joined with us so that we can offer even better quality safaris and operations in these two areas. I find it very funny with some of the comments and I have not been kicked out either. If some of you are really that bored to make up silly rumors I suggest you go out in the yard and do something more rewarding. What business I do and who I do business with is really not anyones business, but have nothing to hide so more than happy to explain some of these little details. If the nay sayers still have questions, I will be more than happy to have Harpreet make a statement on here as well when he is also out of the bush. ACST has already had several clients hunt in these areas with our normal PH's and all safaris have been a great success so far. Now that is out of the way the other news before the rumors start up is very good news. I am now operating all of the Kizigo Game Reserve areas and where I am at right now with clients. I have just finish all of July in these areas completing some fantastic safaris with excellent quality trophies. I have never in my hunting career had areas that have such great quality. I do not have time right now to post pictures, but I promise that I will give a full report when time permits and I am out of the bush with some time. I am busy in the bush and answered the questions. Will not be checking this again for several weeks. Good luck and good hunting to any of you headed out on safari. I will give a full report of my safaris on return to the US in 2 months.

Adam, Thank you for confirming there has been a management change at Bundu. But do you really want to stick with your story, YOU let Harpreet on? I can understand that it is difficult to admit you lost the management rights to your prime area. So let me help you Statement from ACST: "Harpreet now runs Bundu Safaris. We will be happy to book you into these areas that we have been hunting." There, I did it for you. It even sounds... honest. Personally, I could care less who runs the show, as long as we clients have all of the information we need to make a decision. I do not believe that is the case here. I have lost both money and time with operators who did not disclose the relevant facts. It hurts, and I will not stand idly by watching another smoke and mirror show. After reading your carefully crafted repies, I still do not see an answer to the question. I guess that is my answer. But continuing to call Bundu your area because you happen to sell hunts here would be the same as me calling it "MY" area if I sold a hunt there. The question I would ask myself if considering booking with you, -what else aren't they telling me? "You only gotta do one thing well to make it in this world" - J Joplin

Jack, I think that you are just trying to be difficult and do not want to accept that your rumor theory is wrong. Let me list the simple facts for you one more time as I will not waste anymore time on this. Believe what you want. 1) I am still a share holder 2) I have not lost any areas 3) Yes Harpreet does run the ground operations and the whole point of the partnership in Lolkisale and Lobo! 4) ACST still books hunts in these areas as it has done since 2005. 5) Unlike you I am a licensed PH in Tanzania and do personally still guide clients in these areas. 6) I will be personally guiding clients in these areas in the near future. 7) These are some of my prime areas that I hunt, but have also just recently acquired Kizigo Game Reserve West, Central and East which is now taking up majority of my time. I really do not know how more simple of an answer I can give you. Started another safari today and will not have time to post again anytime soon.

Jack -- don't know you and I don't count that a loss. I have booked with Adam and had an amazing hunt with one of PH's, Brian van Blerk and spent some time in camp with Adam --- found him to 100% crediable and willing to do what it took to make sure a client got what was promised -- and more. Your response reminds me of a 2-year old who keeps ask "Why" after every attemt to explain something to him. You are asking Adam to prove a "negative" -- great debating technique but almost impossible to do --- almost like asking someone if their still beating their wife. Your question has been ask and answered how about "manning-up" and provide the apology or better still --- just go away. DB Bill aka Bill George

Jack you have no business questioning a persons private business when you have no money invested or have interest in doing business with them. IT IS CLEARLY NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Mark, Adam, and the rest of Jacks detractors/ opponents; As you can see in the post I quoted above, Jack clearly stated that he is "passionate,". As I understand the clearly un printed rules as not posted by the Admin, stating that you are "passionate," allows the poster to make unsubstantiated smears, claims, assetions and postulations with no repercussions, reprisals, replies or ramifications. You all's calling the bluff and bluster of Jack's not only contravenes the time honored internet tradition of WWW hysteria but also sets a not so fun precedent for future semi anonymous internet attacks. I believe all of you owe a public appology to Jack for not immediately acknowledging defeat from his un verified for the forum attack and I hope you have learned a lesson.

Man oh man what the hell is going on? While I have never hunted in Tanzania I do have plans to do so hopefully in 2015 when my youngest boy is 16 and I plan on taking both boys and my wife. I can guarantee you that I will be contacting Adam Clements for this hunt as I would like to do 14 or 21 days in Masailand with no "record book" trophy requests, just a hunt to totally absorb the country, the hunt, the camp, etc.. Mr. Clements from what I have read here at AR is one of the most respected pros in all of Africa and to slam this man based upon hearsay from someone who really seems like he has an axe to grind is unfair. Jesus Christ it sounds like someone needs to take a valium or smoke a joint to chill out. Mr. Clements keep up the good work and every day I dream of day I can finally set foot in Tanzania. All this thanks to a good friend of our family who hunted in Kenya in 1968 and in Uganda in 1970 he had the honor of Nicky Blunt being his ph. He turned me on to reading and dreaming of Africa with all the books he provided to me when I was a young boy. As I write this now I am looking at the waterbuck and lesser kudu mounts he gave me on my 16th bday which I proudly have on display in my office.

Gentlemen, Please keep in mind that NOTHING in the Tanzanian hunting idustry is what it seems! Make sure whoever you are actually hunting with is going to give you the hunt you have agreed on. Also, keep in mind that there are VERY few outfitters who have a 100% positive response from their past clients. I suggest you ask relevant questions, and find out how was the clients complaints were dealt with. I have seen some outfitters response which was very admirable. Others has been absolutely atrocious.
