Brian, As the dastardly moderator over on AH doing that deleting I'll give this a go.

As a user everyone agrees to abide by a policy and code of conduct.
It is there for all to read.
If you don't follow your agreement you will have your post deleted.

You want to discuss someones offer that is posted please join and discuss it.

Saeed's policy is different on AR and we all abide by that policy here.

Have a good day.

Brickburn:

Why do you think deleting that post is in the best interest of your readers? What was said that wasn't true? Why would you not want your members to have all available information?

Oh wait, you charge folks for posting hunts after three hunt offers. So it hits your pocketbook to delete any information that might be helpful for others making a decision if it causes a "sponsor" to quit passing the quid your way.

Good reason to stick with AR. And avoid your "sponsors."

Let us get some facts straight:

1. My name is not Brian.

2. I make Zero "quid", dollars, pesos or Rand on anything to do with any website.

3. I do not make the policy, that is up to the owner here on Accurate Reloading or any other private enterprise including Africa Hunting.com. If my reiterating the policy or acting upon that policy makes you upset, please refer to 4 and 5.

4. If you have an issue with the owners practices of any business please take it up with them.

5. Glad you are choosing to exercise your free will here on AR.

Have a great day.

One difference between the two forums is that here you can post the name bolded above. But if you use the initials AR in a post over there it will be removed.

A fairly silly move that has cost them the pleasure of any of my future hunt reports.

Cheers
Jim

Okay, my error for assuming you ran the website; an assumption based on your revelation you moderate the site.

But just look at the requirements for posting a hunt: if you don't "pay" you don't post more than three hunts. So at the end of the day, someone is making money. I bet you know who is.

I don't disagree that a business can do whatever he/she pleases - but they must recognize the consequences. Jeff Blair is a perfect example.

I would love to hear why you think not sharing "everything" is in the best interest of readers. But again, I suppose the infamous thread on Jeff Blair would never see the light of day on that "other" site, right?

I guess it's not enough to fight each other and among ourselves as hunters? Now we have to fight each other over "Hunting" web sites. Geez!! No wonder we are losing.

This is amazing to me that people have so many problems between sites. Both have there good and bad points to them. One is set up like a business and is a pay to post hunts to sell or limited to 3 posting. Which has just started in the last year because of some many outfitter sponsoring the site now. To post other things cost nothing and there are some good guys there and some blow hards also.

This site is free to post and say anything you want. Not set up to make money or be a business really. Great site also and can learn a lot on here also. You can also me made to feel like your not a hunter unless your hunting buff, ele or a so called wild lion in moz,or tanz. Again some great guys on here and some blow hards also.

The sad part is we keep losing more ground to the anti's and now we fight over hunting sites. I have seen more and more sites over the years as sites grow they start charging to sale things on there site to help cover cost to run them. Not sure one is right and one is wrong just two different ways to do it I guess. I enjoy both of them and have learned from both.

For the record my son did the hunt this post started as with tootabi once everything was cleared up that he could do the hunt and had a great trip. Also hunted with paw print another sponsor on the other site and had a great trip and now help them sell hunts here in the states. One day I hope to book a hunt off this site as there are some great deals here to.

I don't have any problems with the AH site. It has some good information as well on occasion. My problem is with this Bushwhack loser. He slithered off of this site, and hides over there.

Sorry, but I disagree. AH is protecting these shady operators by not allowing the truth to be posted. How can that be good for their members? A lie of omission is still a lie.

I cannot agree more. However I have also learned that if you cannot say something good about someone, rather keep quiet!

I wonder where is all the Outfitters that had lots to puke about on this forum now? #justwondering #maybehunting

Peace brothers!

I wonder how many hunting outfitters names have the word "Cascade" or "Bitterroot" or "Teton" in them?

Should they all be suing each other because of the words that comprise the name of their businesses, the location name is common among them?

Better yet you should see all the outfits with east cape in there name. I guess the name is the last thing some can hang on to as a problem. But I do believe there was even some big threats about that but those never happened either.
