ALL AVAILABLE HUNTS AT THIS PRICE HAVE BEEN SOLD. THANK YOU! Outfitter: Nsok Safaris Agent: Jeff C. Neal, Inc. Dates: March 15-July 31, 2012 Country: Cameroon, Lupundji 29 Primary Animals: Bongo, Dwarf Buffalo, giant forest hog, Sititunga, duikers Bob Talley and his Bongo Doug Leech and his Bongo After another successful 2011 season, we are pleased to be able to offer Bongo hunts in Cameroon at a discounted rate. For 2011, our Cameroon outfitter offered us a very special deal on his bongo hunts. The normal pricing for 2011 was $30,000 for daily rates only, plus transfers, dip and pack, licenses and airport assistance. For 2012, we are again able to offer this hunt to clients at a daily rate of $28,000 including ground transport to and from camp, dip and pack, and safari licenses! These hunts are done on 14 day itineraries, with 11 or 12 of those days being actual hunting days (depends on the car ride and rain). This price is valid for ANY date during the 2012 season, which has a few bookings at this point so please check availability if in groups of more than one hunter. We had a couple of AR members take advantage of this hunt discount in 2011 and both took home good bongos plus assorted duikers, buffalo and giant forest hog. I'll let them post photos when they get the time, don't want to steal anyone's thunder! Hunters fly into Yaounde, Cameroon and are picked up at the airport and assisted with firearms clearance. The drive to camp is a long one, there’s no doubt about it (roughly a full day of driving). Expect car trouble, flat tires and a bumpy ride, but expect a good hunt at the end of the road! Camps are nice, AIR CONDITIONED, and comfortable. There will be a maximum of three hunters in camp at a time, however each hunter has their own chalets. The bongo are hunted with dogs in this area, as are the Sititunga. The blocked off dates look as follows (arrival and departure dates listed below): March 15 – 30 June 1 – 15 June 15 – 30 July 1 – 15 July 15 – 30 This hunt includes daily rates at a 1x1 basis, Dipping and packing ($1,500 normally), safari license and Cameroon Gun permit ($1,000), airport assistance and firearms clearance, and round trip ground transfer to and from camp. I just got back from this hunt. It was as described and a great hunt. If you are after bongo, you should get one here. My son and I both took nice bongo's on day 3 and 4 of the trip. I will post a hunt report in a couple of weeks when I get the rest of the pics I need.

And I look forward to your hunt report on that trip soon Ross! This is a hunt I really want to do in the future! On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died. If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
