Gary hopkins/KLIPRAAL TRAVEL & SAFARIS has a leopard on offer on the Midlands Rhino Conservancy of Zimbabwe at a price I have not seen since the 90's. I hunted this area several years ago and the game is plentiful and accommodations plus food are excellent. Among a good bag of other game I took a 42.5" sable there.

There are several openings in the schedule but Gary is suggesting mid to late May, June and July as ideal to take advantage of the moon phase.

Pricing:

1x1 14 days leop/PG $600 per day
1x1 18 days leop/sable/PG $600 per day

Extras:

2% tax on daily fees
4% tax on trophy fees
CITIES for leopard $100
Dip/pack dependnet on # of animals taken

Trophy fees:

Leop $4,500
Sable $3,500
Kudu $1,200
Zebra $1,100
Eland $1,500
Bushbuck $850
Reedbuck $850
Duiker $250
Giraffe $1,500
Wildebeest $950

baits:

Impala $100
Baboon $75

This is not a discount but full price for '12.

Contact me anytime should you have any interest in this hunt.

Mark

Nakihunter,

I don't believe there are any buffalo on the Conservancy. There weren't any when I hunted there.

Matt,

Since there are black rhino there if for no other reason the area needs to be fenced but Gary tells me now the Conservancy totals 100,000 acres and he can hunt all of it.

That's a hell of a deal Mark, especially since it's not a cancellation price and you can go on your schedule! If the area is good for cats, this is a no brainer.

Thanks for the page Will, but I'm already booked for May with SSG. If the offer had been made when I was looking, I would have taken it.

I said this exact same thing to my mother years ago. She said it's a bitch when you find out you were cheated out of both.
