Will,
I've asked Joanna about it. I believe both are split both ways, so it should be half. I'll have an answer first thing in the morning.

it is a long charter. I have done it before.
We stopped to refuel in Dodoma on the way down. We stopped in Tabora on the way out. I want to say it is 3+ hours one way!
The Lukwati strip is close to the camp. Maybe a mile.
Lot of tsetses. You will lose some blood.

Will - Charter cost as follows:
Charter on 3rd October will be $2,500 for one hunter
Charter on 5th October will be $3,700 for one hunter
Charter on 21st October will be $2,500 for one hunter
Charter on 27th October will be $3,700 for one hunter
So - the 17 day option has a $2,600 cheaper charter cost than the 21 day option.
