TO BE PUT ON OUR SPECIALS AND CANCELLATION LIST, CLICK HERE AND SIGN UP! We have four cancellation moose hunts on the Alaskan Peninsula for THIS year at a reduced rate. An overseas client purchased all 4 moose in this camp and cannot make it. These will be the only 4 moose hunters in this area for 2011.
These moose have averaged over 60" inches since this outfitter took over in 1983 (We've booked hunts in this same area since 1975 and it's safe to say the averages have stayed constant since the first hunt back then). They do very few moose hunts each year (4), and the outfitter holds the only 2 consecutive concessions on the peninsula (Unit 9e). These hunts have also held higher than 90% success rates on moose since 1983, and we've yet to have a client come back without a moose.
These hunts are generally $16,000.00, but we are offering them for $10,000.00 each. Take one or all of them, the same rate. If you need a BIG AK Yukon moose, this is probably the hunt you should take.
$10,000.00 - 10 day moose hunt including meals, lodging, 1x1 guiding, all field prep of moose and fly outs to remote areas of the concessions Lodging will be in spike camps until moose is taken, then back to the lodge. The lodge was updated in 2010 and is very comfortable. The spike camping is.... spike camping.
Not included - License ($85.00), moose tag ($400.00), flights to Blue Mountain Alaska or hotels before and after the hunt if necessary.
Dates are as follows:
September 9, 2011 - Arrive Blue Mountain, AK fly out to spike camp
September 10-20 - 10 day moose hunt
September 21, 2011 - Homeward bound
We recommend picking up a wolf tag ($30 each) as there are some opportunities for wolf in this area, plus the guides would appreciate you helping the moose herd!
Some bulls our clients have taken on this hunt the last couple of years:
ALL THREE BETWEEN 64"-68":
68" moose with folded palms:

BiebsNobody else up for this? Short notice, but a knock-out price for a Trophy Alaska-Yukon Moose. I'm counting my pennies now.

The way you count it will be Christmas and the hunt will be over by the time you count out 1,000,000 pennies.

AnotherAZWriterI shot a really good moose in the Yukon last year or i would grab this. It is one of the best deals posted, assuming the outfitter is top notch.

That's too bad! At least you shot a good bull though, a big bull moose is one of my favorite North American Animals.
And I can assure you Tracy and his outfit are top notch. Zero complaints from our clients since he took over in 1983, and zero before that with Gene Needles. We had a guy not shoot a bear (broken leg) in 2005 and he let him come back free on the first hunt in 2007. That's the kind of operation they are, very honest and accommodating and most importantly ,they always put 100% into each hunt and do what's fair for the clients.
