Folks - I am happy to say my long-time friend and Pro Hunter Richard Bell-Cross, has finally secured the famed Lunga Luswishi GMA in Zambia's western Kafue region.

As many of you know, I have hunted this block many times with Rich since 2003 - its one of my very favorites. This Kafue block produces some very big leopard, sable over 40" are not unusual, as well as good roan and other plains game species. Croc and hippo are plentiful, and this block also has the unique offering of Zambezi Sitatunga within its boundaries - without a special trip to the Bangweulu.

I was in Mushingashi in October and regularly saw Richards scouts across the river patrolling the boundary. I didn't go into Lunga more than just to the main camp, but it seemed to be "business as usual". I saw several large puku, sitatunga and hippo along their side of the river.

Great cat area and you will shoot a Sitatunga here. Especially the one across the river from me that I have been looking after!
