Nobody seemed real interested in a fully guided hunt so how about just buying the landowner tag and doing it yourself? Unit wide 6A bull elk tag that can be used for the muzzle loader or 1st or 2nd any weapon hunt(seasons are in October) - $2,500.00 and I'll give you some info on where to hunt. Contact me if you have questions or want more details.

No, total tag price is $2500 as stated by Larry, total price of tag and license is $3,200+. Tags and license are separate in NM (as in most states), and licenses are bought over the counter once a tag is purchased. Actually not too bad of a deal considering most Landowner tags go for anywhere from $3,000 to $3,750 from what I have found.

I'm no expert on NM elk, but $3200 is NOT alot in today's market for a quality elk hunt.

This is just the tag price not the hunt cost.

Sorry guys been away from the computer for a couple of days. Sometimes I think that is a good thing?

Ted, Greg B is correct in that the landowner tag which I am offering is priced at $2,500 which allows the purchaser to then buy a NM elk license from the Game and Fish Dept. and hunt Unit wide in 6A for any one (1)of the three hunts listed. This hunt is in a Unit that has a "Standard" hunting license fee and is $571.00 for a non-resident or $102.00 for a resident.

Ted I have this tag/hunt listed on another thread here as a fully guided hunt including the tag, license etc. for a total of $6500.00 USD. It's on page 2 now, look at 2010 Bull Elk hunt-New Mexico-Guaranteed Tag & License.

Hope this answers everyones questions?
