We have a last minute hunt for Altai Ibex in Mongolia, and by last minute I mean the hunt's got to be done before October 15! I had this hunt sold but the client unfortunately had a schedule conflict pop up after confirming, so we are hoping to get it sold here.

The hunt is for the Altai Ibex of the Altai Mountains of western Mongolia. I just returned from Mongolia 2 weeks ago and had a fantastic hunt for Argali with a client, and if I wasn't going to Zambia next month I would do this hunt myself. It's a wonderful country and the hunting is fantastic.

The ibex below was shot in the same area this hunt will be conducted with our outfitter at the beginning of September and measured 49". Since then they have shot a 44" billy and a 48" billy. It's a good area with expected trophy size to be 42"++. October will be cold but a great time to be there. Hunts are done via horseback and camp is a traditional Mongolian Ger. They're clean, comfortable and warm. I just spent 2 weeks in one and would do another 2 weeks gladly.

What's it all come to, I remember not long ago you could kill both ibex with airfare included for $5800. Great animals, great place!
