We have 1 opening for Alaskan Brown bear with our number 1 outfitter for 2011. One of our longtime clients has put his hunt off until 2013 so we now have one spot open. These hunts are truly some of the finest brown bear hunts in the world.

The hunting area is Unit 9E on the Alaska Peninsula near the Becharof National Wildlife refuge. This first hunt is one of the better hunts in all of Alaska as the weather is generally better than the later hunt and the salmon are running in the streams. It's not uncommon to see up to 25 bears per day on this hunt. Hunters fly into Anchorage, AK. Overnight, at the famous Millennium hotel then off to King Salmon the following morning. From there you will charter to camp and begin hunting the next day.

Sample Itinerey:

September 28, 2011 - Arrive Anchorage. Overnight.
September 29, 2011 - Depart Anchorage for King Salmon. Get all licenses at lodge and overnight.
September 30, 2011 - Fly out to spike camp
October 1-10 - 10 day Brown Bear hunt
October 11, 2011 - Back to King Salmon and homeward bound.


Price for this hunt is $22,500.00 excluding license and tag ($585).

Bears on this hunt average over 9' each year with several being taken over 10' each season. Our clients have taken multiple Boone and Crockett bears on this hunt, including 1 in 2009.
