If I'm reading this correctly, that sucks. Had many purchases and sales on here with honorable people some of which sent items before checks cleared. Never an issue. Lucky I guess.

Good evening sir, I seen you’re saying bad about me.

I am extremely grateful for your generosity to a stranger.

I can pay your dies RCBS has them and you can even call them. They told me it’s still not completed yet. I did ask and they can ship directly for you.

You initially over looked my txt when I touched base and you apologized about over looking my txt. I offered to pay for them and you would rather the dies back several times especially since they’re at RCBS

Steven said he sent you a check for the bullets if he didn’t I told you I would take care of the few bullets I got from you and pay for Steven’s stuff.

I do not have your address to send you money or I could Venmo you etc right away. If you sent an address to Steven I did not get it. You shipped the dies from Gordy so that’s the address I have.

You txt me saying take it as a life lesson if the money was not sent. You never gave me info to get money to you when I said I would take care of it if Steven didn’t send it.

I have been extremely transparent on everything and have offered to pay.

I apologize about the dies I wished they were already done being fixed at RCBS.

Once again thank you but I am sorry you feel that way. I’ve been doing right on my behalf I thought. I have all our communication that shows I have sir. I would be happy to share them

I am happy to tell the whole story.

This story started in May . . . five months ago. You posted that you urgently needed dies for an upcoming trip. Not knowing you from Adam, I offered to loan you the dies you needed but told you that I wanted them returned since I still had a rifle in that caliber. A few days later your friend ends up purchasing a double rifle I had on consignment. I told him that had a number of bullets for the rifle if he needed them but that I was leaving for Africa in two days. I also had some bullets you needed for your rifle.

I agreed to bring the bullets to the gunshop on a Sunday so y’all could pick them up later that week after I left for Africa. We agreed to just settle up later. In fact, Steven said it would be taken care of before I returned from Africa. Roll forward. Weeks pass and I ping you and Steven to find out what is going on since I had heard nothing. I am told y’all are in Africa and everything will be taken care of when you get home. Fair enough. More time passes with no communication. Then I learn that the sizing die ended up with a stuck case and had to sent back to RCBS. On the money for the bullets, I am told that Steven is going to be in Houston for an event involving his daughter and he will drop a check by the shop. Never happens. Time passes. I ping Steven again. Then he says he forgot and he will overnight the money. Never happens. Time passes. I send Steven a note this past weekend and he never even responds. I bring the matter to your attention on Saturday and you say you will check with Steven on the payment for the bullets and call RCBS on Monday. When I did not hear anything from you, on Tuesday I sent you a note saying just forget about the money, I will consider this whole ordeal a lesson to be careful doing favors for folks you do not know. You did not even respond to that note. You only responded when I decided to let folks here know to be careful.

When folks will not even respond, I am thoroughly irritated. Someone does not even have the courtesy to respond. I did you both a favor, went out of my way to do so, and five months later I am the one still having to chase this down. As I told you, it is not about the money or the dies. It is about doing someone in a bind a favor, and going out of my to do so since I was leaving for Africa in two days, and then feeling a bit like why in the world should I have to be chasing this down 5 months later. If the persons you did the favor for really appreciated the favor it seems like you would not have to bird dog the matter for months afterward and be told misrepresentations along the way.

Not the way I think folks repay a favor. Keep the money, keep the dies. I’m done chasing this down.

This is unfortunate MJines but I think you should not let these people off by telling them to keep money and dies. They owe you the money and the dies and that's exactly what you should receive. Sounds like your helpful accommodating ways have bumped into a couple irresponsible hucksters!

No, I just think they have a low priority on returning the favor. Should not take chasing things down, pinging people with text messages, months afterward.

When have I Robert not responded sir? When I met you at Gordy and sons the day Steven looked at your 577 I said I could pay for the dies then.

So if you can show me txt where I have avoiding paying you personally or have not been transparent. I will be more than happy to post screenshots of our conversation via txt.

Did I ever tell you I personally sent you money?

Not really. I don't know you or ever had any interaction with you. I simply read between the lines on MJines post and related that I've enjoyed may a transaction with AR members. Biebs, being the lunatic he is, once sent me a $4,000 rifle even before receiving my check, let alone waiting for it to clear.

A appreciate your offer to email me communications between you and Mr. Jines but there's no need. This is none of my business.

Again, my comment was not an indictment on you, simply a statement about past dealings I've had via AR.

Where there's a will, there's a way and as Mike opined earlier, he was in no way obliged to do a stranger a favor but that's Mike's character to help out someone in distress.

Mike is not going to be bankrupted if he loses out on a couple of hundred dollars; it is just a question of principle and his gentlemanly gesture should simply be honored.

You are doing yourself no favors by creating an unnecessary shit-storm on the forum.

Way too late to fix this mess…
Doing business is a matter of trust and integrity….
Seems that ship has sailed…
