damn, it didn't work out. We're logging my property this year, and the Forester says we may start in late September or early October. I'd love to do another wilderness horseback hunt....oh well :-( | |||

It is a great adventure. I hunted the mountains in northern BC several years ago on horseback....the start of the Rocky Mountains. We rode up trails that would be difficult to walk. Horses are a God-sent for mountain hunting, for sure. | |||

I almost did Doug, but went to AK instead. Had a great hunt, but there is nothing like a horseback hunt in the backcountry. Maybe next year! | |||
