What size of moose can reasonably be expected? Odds of taking a moose? I know you are in Canada but perhaps you can remind me of which providence your in. Where would a hunter meet you to start a hunt? Thanks. Bruce

There are still two caribou hunts open. If you can swing it I would grab one. It does not get any better then this price.
Still a few moose hunts as well.

Way to go, Biebs. Which dates did you book?

damn, it didn't work out. We're logging my property this year, and the Forester says we may start in late September or early October. I'd love to do another wilderness horseback hunt....oh well :-(

Biebs we got to do a wilderness horseback hunt.

This seems like a great hunt in beautiful country.

It is a great adventure. I hunted the mountains in northern BC several years ago on horseback....the start of the Rocky Mountains. We rode up trails that would be difficult to walk. Horses are a God-sent for mountain hunting, for sure.

I thought I would show the results of the one hunter that took me up on this hunt.

Not to bad, a wolf, moose and mtn caribou taken the same week. the moose and caribou where shot by different hunters.

I almost did Doug, but went to AK instead. Had a great hunt, but there is nothing like a horseback hunt in the backcountry. Maybe next year!

Looks like the wolf was the prize throphy.
The young couple look happy over the caribou.
Any great hunting story to go with the hunt?
I did a BC hunt on horseback many years ago, 21 days. Everyone needs to do it once.
I heard many good things about the outfitter and his friends.

I wasn't on the hunt myself so not a lot to tell. The wolf was the trophy of the hunt for sure.
