Folks, Gary Hopkins has some hunting in both Gokwe North and South at some fantastic rates. Other than a couple of hunts CMS has booked in the North for 2024 Gary has the whole quota for both areas. He just completed a 5 day recce there and liked what he saw. He found lots of elephant with expectations for ivory being 30-35#. Buffalo are there in good numbers. I have a video of a herd of about a hundred taken yesterday. Gary is hunting only one client or one 2x1 at any one time. So you would have camp and area exclusivity. Also in the South the tetses have been irradicated. In the North tetses are there in pockets but not in horrible numbers. A kudu cow is also available for bait – cost USD$ 800.00 (5 baits) Impala females is also available for bait – cost USD$ 150.00 (1 bait) On Crocodile hunts Baits – Donkeys are used for baiting running around USD$ 400.00 per beast. Observer fees USD$ 250.00 per day per person – exclusive of 2% levy and VAT USD$ 10.00 per day Ranger Parks fees USD$ 50.00 per day (for the leopard, tuskless elephant, Trophy Elephant, non exportable elephant) Cities Tags USD$ 200.00 (leopard, crocodile, trophy elephant if taken) 2% levy on all day fees 4% levy on total trophy fees – to be determined at the completion of the safari. Is there a “hunting observer” rate, and if so, are all animals available? And, I’m assuming, the vehicle transfer fee is the same with one person or two people? | |||

Not in Gokwe. Observer can't even carry a gun. On private property a plan can be made. The vehicle transfer is for the vehicle regardless of how many passengers there are. Mark MARK H.
