FrostbitGreg,
I don't see Sable on the trophy list but mentioned in the dip & pack. Are Sable available on a 7 day hunt?

Mario,
Grant has 3 different camps, so the hunter will have a chance to be close to the buff depending on where they are.

Larry SellersDon't know that 70K (1 1/2 hour drive) is that bad to get on Buff?? Heck I drive that far every day just to pick up my newspaper and have a cup of joe and a twinkie with my buds!!

And no Cape Buffalo when I get there.

Jim,
Sorry, I put all animals on the dip and pack. To shoot a sable, you need 10 days. Extra days for just hippo croc are $500/day. Extra days for sable are $800/day. The sable trophy fee is $3,750 this year.
Thanks!
Greg

Oryxhunter1983Greg,
I'm curious, is the difference in extra days price related to croc/hippo vs sable...a license expense?
Why is there a 300$ difference?

MARK H. YOUNGJerad,
Greg can answer his own questions but in general sable are considered some of the most valuable game and often they are offered on a very limited quota. This makes them more expensive. In my experience this is true everywhere sable are offered except on game farms where the trophy fees are very high.

Jerad,
Mark hit the nail on the head with his answer. Simply high demand and low quota.
Also - The $500/day upgrade is special price for the buffalo package, not the actual daily rate. The daily rate on this hunt is roughly $850/day, I just worked out a deal with Grant for a discounted upgrade so guys could hunt more game/more days.
Thanks!
Greg

bwanamrmThis is a great deal... I tried to line up a hunt in Moz this year and the dates I wanted/needed were booked! I would jump on this but my dance card is full for '11! I am hunting Moz with Zambeze Delta next September for buff, suni,nyala.... Somebody take advantage of this opportunity!

Lhook,
I'll have to check with Grant. I know he said the daily rates will be the same, but it's tough to know what the government is going to do with the trophy fees. It should be the same though so I will check and get back with you.
Thanks!
