I have on offer 2 choices for Namibia next year with Karl Stumpfe. These are the kind of trophy elephant hunts that produce the big, thick ivory. If your considering a date with an up close and personal tusker, look at these:

Hunt #1: Sobbe conservancy
12 day hunt; 2 days travelling (14 days total) Hunt for one trophy elephant bull in Sobbe conservancy.
Average size to be expected: 45-60lbs.
Accommodation is in a permanent tented camp, with cement slab floors, running hot water and flush toilets. 2 beds per tent, each tent has separate bathroom. (2 client tents, 2 extra tents).
Any other game on quota can also be added for trophy fee alone.
Day fees @ US$ 1450 per hunting day, and US$ 250 per travelling day for a total of US$ 17 900.
Trophy fee @ US$ 16 500 for any size trophy bull. (No sliding scale on weight.)
All inclusive therefore US$ 34 400.

Book before December 16, 2011 and receive the following free! (Saving of US$ 3700):
• Transfer from Victoria Falls airport and back (Usually US$ 300 one way)
• One non-hunting observer free (Usually US$ 250 per day, so saving of US$ 3 000)
• Firearms permit for transit through Botswana (Usually US$ 100).

Hunt #2: Khaudum North Complex
14 day hunt, 2 days travelling (16 days total) hunt for one trophy elephant bull in Khaudum North complex conservancy.
Average size to be expected: 50-80lbs.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
