swenativeLast chanse, reduced price!! Moosehunting in samiland 2016 (North of Sweden)
Hi!
I have an opening for a bull moose hunt in samiland (Sweden) in september.
This is a 1x1 trophy bull moose hunt.
Book a 5-day hunt between September 21th and 25th.
The hunt is conducted in the north of Sweden by reindeer herder and samiguide Joachim Andersson. The area is vast open hill mountains with patches of deciduous trees in the valleys. The hunt is conducted by calling and binoc scouting.
The hunt cost Swedish kronor
25 000 21 000 SEK, includes guide, food and accommodation (tipi). Transfer from Östersund (Frösö airport) to the mountains. Equipment transport to the camp by ATV. Also, if the hunt succeeds during the first day/days we can stay for trout fishing in a fishingcabin down in the valley.
40% deposit required to book the hunt and confirm your dates
Trophy fees
Moose bull 7500 SEK
Bronze medal 18300 SEK
Silver medal 23000 SEK
Gold medal 28000 SEK
Not included is Swedish hunting license (300 SEK) and charter flight if you want to take helicopter up the mountain instead of hiking. (hiking takes 2 hours)
Welcome!

What a great deal!
Right now 1,000 Kronor is about $117 USD so the hunt cost would be about $2925 plus license fees of $35.10 and the trophy fees for a gold medal Moose is $3276.
Joachim,
Where would the client fly in to and what's the process for bringing a rifle in to Sweden from the US?

P-A ÅhlénYes the US$ is very strong towards the SEK at the moment, good oppurtunity.
Joachim is a very good guide, a skilled moose caller and the area is very beautifull. Also the best county for big bulls in Sweden

Hi Frank!
The easiast way is to Stockholm, and then up to Östersund (Frösö Airport). Flight takes 50-60 min from Stockholm. It´s not so hard to bring your own rifle. I Think you need to email the documents to the Swedish police at least 6 weeks Before the hunt. I have a rifle for hire (blaser r93 9,3x62 with a trijicon scope) for 1500 SEK.

MJinesI would love to hunt in Sweden one day. In March I had the privilege of sharing a camp in Burkina Faso with three Swedish hunters, Benny and Jorgen Andersson and Mikael Olsson. Great company and serious hunters . . . as are P-A and his wife.
Good luck with the hunt.

Bama15So, far roughly $4000 YOU CAN HUNT MOOSE (UNDER sci BROZE) AND POSSIBLY FISH. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE CAMP, TEPI, TENT, remote, guide does the cooking? Sounds pretty close to an elk camp.

I hear you Randy. If I wasn't Tarpon fishing in Nicaragua at that time, I would be a candidate. See you in 12 days

We'll chat about future possibilities...

I always ask about guns because I'm left handed and prefer to shoot that way. I can shoot right handed but I enjoy using the rifle and load that I'm used to.
If I wasn't already booked with my brother and friends for Pronghorn trip in Wyoming starting on September 25th, I would love to do this.
I just looked up airfare from LAX to Ostersund and economy is only $1100.
A moose hunt doesn't get any cheaper than this.

Hi Bama!
I pick you up at Frösö airport, and then we have rougthly 3 hours in the car up to the end of the road where we continuo with ATV. Yes I do the cooking. The tipi is the tents with an open fire you see in one of the Pictures. Thats the camp by the way, and the most of bulls is shoot around that Ridge.
