Zimbabwe Cancelled Leopard Hunt in Prime area / Prime dates 2018

Greetings all due to an unfortunate cancellation I have one Leopard tag available in June this year between the 7th and 22nd June .

I am trying to sell this hunt at what it normally requires for this concession in order to refund the deposit . However this deposit was paid 2 years ago and the client cancelled last year due to a Brown bear tag he drew in Kodiak Island so the hunt was postponed to this year and now again it has been cancelled because of work and contracts etc I can’t really elaborate ok but that has left me with these dates to fill and a fantastic opportunity for someone else to hunt this prime area for a better than average chance at a big male Leopard on Bubiana Conservancy.

The hunt would normally sell at all inclusive with Trophy fee and 5 baits on 14 days at pretty much cost for $24000 . That would be 5 baits , Trophy fee $6000 and day rates inclusive of 2% ZTA Levy on day fees .

This does not include National Parks scout fees of $70 a day as required. . Nor pre baiting which is $200 a day .

If I can not sell this hunt at this price I am open to selling it less deposit paid which would then be offered at basically $700 a day .. and if you get this hunt at $700 a day on this concession you will not be disappointed at all .

Observers are $200 a day and plains game are in abundance here so there is plenty hunting available for you and the observer to hunt and share if you like .

Transfer to and from Bulawayo airport with hunting vehicle $100 .

Everything else as far as trophy prep and delivery to Bulawayo is inclusive as well as the PH his vehicle, trackers all safari staff , 3 meals a day , local beverages , daily laundry .

Gratuities for the PH and Staff are at your discretion

I am contactable on email : nyamazanasaf@netconnect.co.zw
Website www.nyamazanasafaris.com
Cellphone/ Whattsapp number +263772450375

Address #12, 26th Ave , Famona, Bulawayo

I will also be at the SCI convention booth # 3989

Hoping to sell this hunt before or at the show .

Regards

Wayne Van Den Bergh

Wayne,

Could you please clarify your pricing??

I understand the normal price of $24,000.

But have no idea what it would cost in total now.

Hi Saeed

The Hunt is $24000 all inclusive.

$6000 Trophy fee
5 baits for $800
And day date is $1228 per day X 14 days which includes the ZTA 2% and the Zimra Accomodation tax .

Hope this clarifies.

Thank you

Yes that is correct $16000 all in including Trophy fee as explained . What’s not included is the government Parks scout fee of $70 a day and you only pay for the days up until you harvest your Leopard .

Which PH?

Sounds like a cracking deal especially if you shoot your Leopard first day!

If I hadn't killed a leopard last year in Zambia, I would jump on this.

I hunted Bubiana last July with another PH and it is a great area for leopard. I believe they are 100% success on leopard. Great deal.

I spoke with Wayne last night and got the history of this hunt. His client stands to lose his down payment - if that was anyone of us, we would want to be made whole if possible (notwithstanding this guy has cancelled twice). So we agreed that if he can sell for this hunt for the original price between now and the SCI show, to go ahead and do so. I would be totally fine with that, and appreciate him looking out for the original client.

Best of luck if you go AZwriter

Well, this hunt was a fantastic deal. Shot a large leopard the second time in the blind. Saw six leopards, inc two mid-day. Shot a bushbuck about 15 in, a warthog, zebra, impala, grsbok, and of course a ton of bait animals.

If someone wants to see the picks or post them, let me know. I don't post photos.

I have hunted for leopard once in the Selous (shot one) and twice in Namibia. I am done hunting Namibia for leopards. My last hunt we sat in blinds all night whether the bait was active or not. Baits were not really positioned properly, no trail cams, etc.

I read once on AR that if you want to shoot a cat, hunt with a PH that knows cats. Wayne knows cats...trust me.
