Larry,

Call Mark Young and get a trip out of Dillingham.

In south west AK the winters haven't produced any winter kill and the predator issue is being dealt with. Moose numbers are at least good if not better and trophy bulls are around. I'd hesitate to say you and your friend could both expect 60" bulls but one is a reasonable hope.

Butch King has one of the great Moose hunting outfitters in Alaska. You can call him personally through his website.

To avoid getting a hunters hopes up I don't think he will ever tell you his average or reveal the biggest Moose taken in his area, but I would go with Tim Mervyn in the Yukon.

Great outfitter and a great person.

I know of a good cancellation for 2011 - save $4000...down form $16,500 to $12,500, and you can shoot a brown bear for a $4000 trophy fee.

It is iN AK, and they are averaging 60"+...

email me if you want the contact info...
