No more Bots visas at point of entry

THE Botswana Department of Customs and Immigration no longer allows visitors to obtain visas at point of entry. All visas must now be pre-arranged for tourists who require a visa.

They can be arranged with the Botswana High Commission and in countries where Botswana is not represented, may be obtained from the British High Commission.

There's still that big list of countries from which travelers do not need a visa, isn't there?

Yes, Americans do not require a visa entering Botswana if they plan on staying less than 90 days.

Wow, can you imagine the final bill for a 91 day safari in Botswana???
