Well the british Air Jammies are quite comfy. On our trip in 2010 it was the first time we ever took BA 1st class (we used miles).

I felt a little weird getting into them until I saw everyone else started changing as soon as on board.

On the Heathrow to Jo-berg leg I got changed immediately with boarding and was sipping on my Champagne and a guy in an Orange vest walked up to me as asked if I was Mr. Wojciehowski. I answered affirmative and he then asked, "Are you traveling with firearms?".

I answered "yes".

He requested, "Could you come with me please".

I said, "I'm in my jammies and slippers where are we going"?

He said, "I need you to identify your gun and ammo case".

He walked me off the plane past the still boarding passengers and through a security door down onto the tarmac. There in a luggage tug was my tuffpak and ammo case.

His scanner wouldn't pick up the barcode because the counter person in Seattle had put about 20 staples through it.

Me and my jammies returned to the plane.

Ironic as I read this Ms. AZWriter is on this same flight but from Melbourne (after flying all night from Perth).

How does a college professor rate a 1st class fare? Is he paid that much or is he doing a lot of consulting on the side??
