I'm thinking of doing things slightly different for my upcoming Namibia trip in April Thinking of doing the Africa Sky overnight along with using their full pre approved SAPS permit, meet and greet, the whole nine yards (please no lectures on validity of using pre-approved SAPS, etc)

Question is, was the Africa Sky experience a good one with regards to securing permits, meet and greet, meals, etc? I used Gracy last year with VIP service, City Lodge, etc and have no complaints. I"m wondering if Gracy's having feet on the ground in Africa is worth the additional cost? Just looking for a comparison. Thanks.

They have done all mine for my last 8 safaris, and there has never been a glitch on anything, guns, food, rooms, transport, etc. They get the highest marks from me. I will be there twice again this year...

I have used a few others that were pretty good. However, none of them met the service and quality of accommodations of African Sky. In my mind, they just take it to a different level.

I have stayed at Africa Sky several times. Last summer it seemed that the VIP service was better than ever. I was met shortly after getting off the plane and before getting to customs. The guide escorted me around lines and took me straight to a customs agent that stamped my passport and waved me through.

Next stop was SAPS where my guns got a quick serial number verification, and we were headed off to the hotel. The evening meal was a good steak and breakfast was great as well. Back to the airport the next morning where I was again whisked through customs and on to Namibia.

I have always negotiated my way through on my own but the VIP service sure made things much easier. I would pay for it again next time over.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Did not use their meet & greet, but the lodging, food & service were excellent.

Africa Sky is A+!

They were great again last year with all services, both going and with a last minute booking when we missed our flight home. Home away from home feeling.

In 2013 it was my first time to hunt Africa and it was Namibia for me also.
We stayed one night, had the meet & greet plus let Africa Sky do all the paper work.
Africa Sky is "Top Notch".
10-to 15 minutes in SAPS office then off to Africa Sky for a GREAT meal and GREAT sleep.
Would use again without question.

My name is in the guest book several times and will be again soon. I cannot think of a single thing they could do better!
