We used the online service to apply for our visas, took less than 30 minutes for two visas. Upon arrival at Windhoek there were long lines at immigration there were probably 20 booths with immigration officers and there were 6 or 8 booths marked for e-visa only, the process was quick and simple, we were out of the airport in about 30 minutes, including firearms permit. Much different than at O R Tambo!
Well lucky you ! I was there last week and it was a good 90 minutes. Of a party of 3 one managed to upload enough to get his visa online. 2 couldn’t but the time difference in clearing was minimal.

There is a button for “e-visa”, that’s the one. The other visas ask for way too much info. You will need a passport photo to include with the application, invite letter, too I think.
