A few days ago we were in Dar airport.

I was standing in the line for immigration clearance.

In the line next to me, there were a middle age white couple, who each had a big backpack on, engaged in a passionate, open mouth long kiss!

Everyone was staring at them!

I really thought that would be the last place I would engage in this sort of activity.

They must have been French!

Was the couple Al & Tipper Gore by any chance?

I seem to recall they shared a similar kiss on national TV at the 2004 Democrat convention (speaking of the last place one would expect to see such activity).

Also thought they have since separated - maybe they're trying for a reconciliation!

Easy explanation. They were slipping the contraband from one to another...

I agree completely...... some people simply have no idea how to behave in an appropriate manner.

If you think that's bad, try spending an evening in the Seacliff bar where it's not at all uncommon to see middle aged white men with their tongue down the throat of a local whore.

There are suppsoed to be no cameras in most immigration areas so they probably weren't married to each other and were not worried about pictures showing up in a divorce trial,, just a guess and still not something appropriate in public but I am considered somewhat old fashioned. Just as bad or worse to me is being in the Dallas Ft Worth airport and seeing "men" walking around with their trousers pulled down past their buttocks with their "underwear" showing and walking with their hand holding on to their "privates"...I guess to keep their pants from falling off and to keep the "weiner thief" from stealing their private parts.... I guess I just don't understand what is "style and sophistication" anymore....

Saeed: There isn't a lot a class left in the world today. I saw two different pairs of absolutely stunning and beautiful women doing that very same thing in Salzburg and Vienna Austria in August of this year.

Years ago my daughter had a guy come by the house to see her with his pants half down his ass. I told him I did not mind the pants if he did not mind me taking my staple/nail gun and fastening then where they belonged. He did not show up like that again and she stopped seeing him awhile latter.
She just got engaged to her boyfriend of 5 years yesterday. He loves to hunt/fish and wears approrate clothes.

Common sense and common decency sure seem to be in short supply these days.

No, It is the hood rats that don't understand sophistication or decent behavior. You and I are not the only ones offended by this. Several cities now have ordinances against sagging. Pants hanging low exposing undergarments = a ticket, pants cinched below the buttocks = a ride to jail. People are sick of it.

I do agree that it's not my favorite sight seeing activity (after all, all those clothes interfere with the view ) but, similar to the many people who bitch about certain threads in here that are not forced to open and read them, I don't have to watch.

I actually think I am rather more broadminded, and tend to be more tolerant of lots of things that others seem to object to.

But, I am afraid certain behaviour tend to make me raise my eyebrowse.

I was in the mall yesterday, and I saw numerous women in very skimpy shorts and and sleevelss tops.

Some looked very attractice, and generally no one objects to this.

A while back I was in the same mall, and I saw two young males - I would not call them men - walking with their underpants showing.

I do find that objectionable.

Last summer, we were about to board a plane from Stockholm to Geneva.

In the line ahead of us was a French woman - I heard her talk - who might have been attractive in her younger days. She had a sunbed burnt skin, very skinny, and was wearing a new model of trousers I have never seen before.

The trousers were made of leather in the lower part, up to mid thigh. Above that was fishnet. One can clearly see her bare backside, and it sure wa NOT very appetising.

If people want to be intimate with each other, or show their bare backsides, doing in public is not the place.

This is my own opinion, and if you think this acceptable, be my guest, and have at it wherever you wish.

I just got back from the bank; I saw a 45-50ish Asian woman standing in line next to me. She had her hair in pigtails, her nails decked to the hilt, and a ton of makeup on. Looked like she was trying to look like a school girl.

Unfortunately, she had a mole on her chin from which twin 2 inch long hairs/whiskers were growing.

Why do women do that??
